Just adding my thoughts and prayers upon learning late why I won't be seeing Daniel in the neighborhood.
I enjoyed our small conversations and having him as a neighbor.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the man who died. Rather we should thank God that such man lived.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May your memories bring you comfort.

Michael: I just learned of your Dad's passing. I will always remember his kindly advice and great personality when we worked at Bank of New England. My prayers are with you and your family. May your hearts be filled with many wonderful memories.

Although we only had the privilege of knowing Dan for the past year, when we moved into the "Court", we became so very fond of him. When we first moved in he came over and showed us how to make meatballs, and always inquired if we were keeping to his recipe ( we always do!), He was a gentle, generous, kind man, and will be missed.

Our deepest condolances to you and your family for the loss of your father. Our prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. While it's hard to lay an old Soldier to rest, it's even harder when it's someone you know. I am glad that me and Joanne were able to meet him last summer.
