Dolores M. (Caligiuri) Sablone, “Matriarch of the family” of Revere and formerly from the North End of Boston where she was born and raised, passed away on February 6, 2025. Owner of Fulton Realty, North End. She was also a Sales Rep. for Filenes, Boston and hostess for the former European Restaurant, Hanover St. Loving daughter of the late Victor and Catherine (Mariano) Caligiuri. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Sablone. Adored mother of Joseph Jr. and his friend Anthony, Kathleen Cieri and her husband Frank and Deborah and Thomas Ludwig, cherished grandmother of Thomas J. Ludwig, Michael Cieri and his wife Kristine and Erik Cieri and his wife Danielle, great grandmother of Michael, Christopher, Luke, Ariana and Amelia. Dear sister of Jean Palmariello and her late husband Ronnie, Joan Caligiuri and the late Barbara Dosick and her surviving husband Barry. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 9am to 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10am. Services will conclude with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
