Enid Carlisle Everett, age 97, of Boston, MA, passed away on March 3, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Everett. Born and raised in Roatan, Honduras, Enid was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Flores) Palmer. She attended school in Honduras before moving to the U.S. where she became a proud citizen. She attended Roxbury Business School and Roxbury Community College, studying early childhood development. She worked for many years in the Boston School Department. She was the loving mother of Virginia Palmer of Boston, Victoria Everett of New York, and Vida Everett and her husband Peter Applewhaite of Cambridge. She was a devoted grandmother of Vida’s children, Mark Alex Everett, Aaron Everett, Twyla Everett, and Deja Applewhaite. Funeral services will be held at the Rush Memorial AME Zion Church, 82 School St, Cambridge on Sat., March 14th. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visiting hours from 10-11 am, with the funeral beginning at 11 am. Interment will follow in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
