Florence (Bevilacqua) Ferrara of Waltham and Swifts Beach, Wareham, formerly of the North End, passed away on November 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Treasured daughter of the late Americo “Smokey” and Lucia (Storella) Bevilacqua. Beloved wife of the late George M. Ferrara. Loving mother of George M. Ferrara Jr. and his wife Maria of Medford, Robert S. Ferrara and his wife Pamela of of Saugus, Gina Ferrara of Charlestown, Stephen J. Ferrara of FL, Americo “Ricky” Ferrara and his wife Donna of Plaistow, NH, and Lorraine Centola and her husband Carl R., Jr. of Waltham. Cherished grandmother of Carl R. Centola III, Francesca Ferrara, Taylor Ann Centola, Adam Ferrara, Christopher Ferrara, Michael Centola, John Ferrara, Nicholas Ferrara and Lindsay Hussey. Dear sister of Barbara Freddura and the late Marguerite Giangregorio and Emil Bevilacqua. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11am in St. Stephen Church, 401 Hanover St., Boston. To join procession to the church, please report to the funeral home for 10am.
