Gock Yee Lee, age 82, of Newton passed away surrounded by his family on September 8, 2023. Devoted son of the late Bark Fook Lee and the late Boy Jan Lee. He was a loving husband to Chik Fong Lee. Caring father to Alvin Lee and his wife Linda Baer, Victor Lee and his wife Jenny Zhang. Loving grandfather to Sophia Lee. Gock Yee was born in 1941 in Taishan, China and immigrated to Boston in 1958. He pursued a career in the restaurant business until retirement.
A funeral for Gock Yee will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St, Boston, MA 02109. A burial will occur at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA.
