Eng, Hen Lai, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Fee Kam (Chin) Eng. Devoted father of Jenifer and her husband Arnold, Paul and his wife Pat, Duncan and his wife Ilse, Annette and her husband Winsor, Eddie and his wife Dena, Angela and her husband Ray. Cherished grandfather of Michele and her husband Hugo, Michael, Malina, Christopher, Michael and his wife Sophie, Lauren, Ingrid, Monica, Andrew, Cameron, Heather, Eric, and Conrad. Loving great grandfather of Jean-Sebastien. Dear brother of the late Shan Ming, the late Albert, and Hen Wom. Caring brother-in-law of the Chin family. Also survived by many nephews and nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and great grandnephews/grandnieces. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to join the family for visiting hours on Wednesday, March 18 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Boston Harborside Home of JS Waterman & Sons-Waring-Langone, 580 Commercial Street, Boston. Funeral service at the funeral home will be on Thursday, March 19 from 10 am to 12 noon before leaving in procession and then burial at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
