Johanna "Giovanna" Coppola passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 92. Giovanna was born on June 16, 1932. She was a life-long resident of the North End and proud member of Saint Lucia Society. Beloved daughter of the Antonio and Costanza Coppola. Dear sister of the late Philomena Pennacchio and Maria Louisa Serrecchia. treasured aunt of Angela Serrecchia, Annette Penella, Evelyn Flanagan, the late Josephine Griffin and Anthony Serrecchia; Great-aunt of Jillian Griffin and Lou Penella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 2, 2025 at 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston. There are no visiting hours. Johanna will be buried privately in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
