Beloved wife of the late Gaetano Battista; loving and devoted mother of Marie A. & William J. Barber of Winchester, MA, and Guy A. & Madeline A. Battista of Denver, Colorado; cherished Grandmother of Jacqueline M. Battista of Denver, Colorado; dear Aunt of Angela Aquilino of Boston, MA; Sister of the late Anthony, Liberato, John, Vincent & Peter Monaco, Carmela Puopolo, Carpina Capucci, Mildred Storlazzi & Marianna Monaco. She is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Josephine was a member of the Christian Mothers’ Society and several Boston senior groups. Funeral from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St. BOSTON, MA on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at 8:30AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Leonard’s Church on the corner of Hanover and Prince Streets at 9:45AM.
