Lucia N. Verrocchi Frattaroli

Lucia (Verrocchi) Frattaroli, 83 years of age, of East Boston, passed away on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Lucia is the inspiration and namesake of Lucia Ristorante, in both the North End and Winchester.

Loving wife of Arturo Frattaroli. Cherished mother of Anna Maria R. Frattaroli, Francesco and his late wife Maria Rita, Tonino and his wife Elaine, Filippo and his wife Anna, Donato and his fiance Annmarie. Adoring grandmother of Philip, Sarita, Daniella, Nicholas and his wife Ariana, Jessica, Donato and Gianni. Caring sister of Giuseppe, Salvatore, Panfilo and Wanda Curini. Lucia is predeceased by her grandson Mark, her brother Mario and her sister Assunta.

Funeral from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston on Monday, January 14th at 8:45AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Leonard’s Church on the corner of Hanover and Prince Streets at 9:45AM. Family will be accepting visitors from 2PM-6PM on Sunday. Entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lucia’s memory to The Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
