Lucy F. Scapicchio

Lucy “Lucia” (Durante) F. Scapicchio, of the North End, passed away on July 4, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Emilio J. Scapicchio for 65 years. Devoted daughter of the late Clemente and Rosa (Salemme) Durante. Loving mother of Stephen Scapicchio and his wife Sharon of East Boston, Anthony Scapicchio and his wife Katherine of Medford, Joseph Scapicchio of Boston and Roseann Scapicchio of Dorchester. Survived by a grandchild Em residing in Portland Oregon. Dear sister of the late Vincent Durante and his wife Jenny, Peter Durante and his wife Mildred, and Americo “Rico” Durante. Cherished by many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Lucy worked for many years as a Lunch Mother for the Eliot School. Lucy was a devoted member of the St. Damian Society. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING AT FRONT DOOR. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St, North End. To join procession to church, please be at funeral home by 9 am Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.
