He was born on September 30th, 1958, in Duluth, Minnesota. Lynn was an accomplished attorney licensed to practice in Massachusetts, with his areas of expertise being domestic relations and criminal defense.
Lynn attended Cornelia Drive Elementary School and Edina East High School in Edina, MN. He then graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, before obtaining his J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law and his L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in Boston, MA
Lynn was married to Robert C. Campbell Jr. and was a much-loved husband. He is survived by his brother Lane Johnson and partner Diane Johnson, as well as his nephew Beau Johnson, nephew Jordan Johnson, niece Christine Johnson, and niece Rachel Johnson. Lynn's father, Donald L. Johnson, and mother, Geraldine (Bachinski) Johnson, predeceased him.
A cremation service was held on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at St. Michael Crematory, which is located at 500 Canterbury St. in Boston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn's name may be made to the St. Olaf Fund Class of 1980, St. Olaf College, 1520 St. Olaf Avenue, Northfield, Minnesota, or to the Friends of the Public Garden, 69 Beacon Street, Boston, MA.
Lynn will always be remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. May he rest in peace.
