Born in Rome, he was raised in Paris, Brussels and Boston where he cultivated his love of travel and fine food. Moving to the US at age 15, he attended the Rivers School and later received both a BA in Computer Science and an MS in Administrative Studies from Boston College. Through both schools he formed lifelong friendships that he cherished deeply.
Philippe was a generous and big-hearted man whose smile lit up a room. He loved his german shepherd Zeus, computers, ice skating, the Boston Bruins and Boston College hockey.
He leaves behind his beloved son Luc Moufflet of Northborough, MA; parents Gerard and Brigitte Moufflet of Boston, MA; brother Francois and wife Isabelle of Porto, Portugal; many extended family members and friends.
His funeral will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, June 13 at Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, 28 Commonwealth Ave, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
In lieu of flowers his family asks that donations be made to Boston College in Philippe’s name.
