Steve never missed an opportunity to remind me that whem we first met, he debating for Keith Academy and I coaching at Bishop Fenwick, I not only gave the other team the win but bawled him out for losing to an inferior team! We worked together at Boston College and through the years he touched base with me to recall old times. He was a delightful person, bright, well-rounded, thoughtful and possessing a marvelous sense of humor. I'll miss him, as will so mant others.

I was honored to be one of Stephen Barry physicians. He was a wonderful smart man, who faced his adversities with humor, intellect, and resolve. He was so thoughtful about how to approach his medical care and treatment, and generous with his desire for us to better understand the side-effects of cancer treatment. He was an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of taking care of him.

Steve was a mentor to me, as well as to many others. He sought to expand the abilities, knowledge and understanding of his friends and coworkers. He is remembered by me as always helpful, even when he endured adversity; he will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to all the family and friends.
Losing a loved one is so difficult, needing comfort that only God can truly give.
So because of this, I have placed you on our prayer chain. We might not know all of you,

We hope that you can take find consolation, in the face of losing this great guy, when you think about how kind and intelligent he was, and how much bravery he showed when visited with considerable adversity.
