Violanda “Yola” (Ventola) Gandolfo of Boston’s North End passed away on January 12, 2023 with her niece Jenny Navarro by her side. Loving daughter of the late Antonio and Marianna (DeMarco) Ventola. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Gandolfo. Cherished sister of Carmen Ventola of Everett, Marie Hynes of NH, the late Carmela Corrente, Angelo Ventola, Armando Ventola, Dante Ventola and Margaret Ferullo. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Yola enjoyed music and especially listening to her brothers singing; she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 9am to 10am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10am. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
