Virginia was raised in NJ and moved to Cape Cod for the summers and subsequently Boston after college. She was employed as a graphics and book editor at all the major publishing houses throughout her career. Her passion was music and was a member of the Melrose Choral Society for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth S. Reilly of Boston, her sister-in-law, Jackie Shine of FL; her nieces, Patricia and Ellen Reilly of the greater Boston area, as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John and William Shine.
Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. at Saint Leonard Church, on the corner of Prince and Hanover St, Boston, MA. Friends and relatives are respetfull invited to attend. A private burial will take place in New Jersey. .
