A letter to my beloved Husband, Walter…
My darling Husband Walter,
Oh how I dreaded this day when I would have to say goodbye. Alas it has come.
My heart is heavy and broken.
You lived your life in selfless humanity never thinking of your comfort nor taking the easy road.
Now my love you can rest in peace.
Thank you for the never ending love we shared, the bond, the unity, trust and respect.
You were a great man and you have left your legacy.
I am so proud to have been by your side as your wife and partner on your journey of selflessness in the service to humanity, especially as you fought for human rights and democracy in Nigeria.
We were meant to be.
I know you will always be with me because your place is in my heart.
I love you my darling and always will.
Good bye my love, Good bye my darling.
Rest in Perfect Peace!
Your loving wife,
Arese
