William "Bill" W. Sellers, DMD

Bill was born in 1935 to Mary and William Sellers. He grew up with his brother Jim, attended Malden Catholic High School and spent summers at Camp Lawrence on Lake Winnepesauke. He graduated from Tufts University with a BS in 1956 and his DMD in 1960. Bill and Usha met as students at Tufts and were married in 1960. He opened his dentistry practice in Reading in 1961 where he practiced for 50 years serving thousands of patients over the course of his career. Bill and Usha moved to Reading in 1967 where they raised their family. He was President and Trustee of the Massachusetts Dental Society and was a fellow of the American College of Dentists. He was elected as a trustee of Tufts University in '85 and a charter trustee in '90. He loved spending time at their home in Chatham and had life long passions for tennis, hiking and traveling and for family re-unions! Bill is survived by his loving wife Usha N. Sellers, Ed.D. Father of William Sellers and his wife Marianne of Chestnut Hill, Lisa Sellers and her husband James Cuoco of Concord, Allison (Sellers) Blake and her husband William of Arlington, VA, and Scott Sellers and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield. He also leaves his loving grandchildren Billy and Natalie, Michael, Sam and Caroline, Regan, Billy and Georgia, Dillon, Noah and Sidney. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 25th at 11am in St. Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere St., Boston.
