Don, You are gone but not forgotten, Rest in peace my friend.

There hasn’t been a day in the past year that I haven’t missed the Don.   His charming smile,  his compassionate hand on my shoulder, his love for life and especially his love for his friends and family bring me smiles knowing how lucky I am to have a friend like Don in my life.  Watch over us Don.  We miss and love you brother.

Don was one of our "regulars" at the Island Queen parking lot and was appreciated for his frequent offerings of baked goods to our (always hungry) Vehicle Placement Counsellors. On behalf of all of us at the Island Queen, we offer our prayers to Don's family. He will be missed.

We meet so many people in our lives, but very few of them leave a profound mark on us. Donald was that kind of person. We’ll miss his annual trips to our campfires at Bourne Scenic Park, and spending time together at the Vineyard at “Almost Paradise “.  He was a truly great friend and mentor, and we appreciate the times we got to spend together. 

Condolences to Donald’s family.  So sorry to hear this news.  Donald was our neighbor on the Vineyard for the past 25 years.  We talked and laughed over the years while doing yard work and home repairs on our beloved  “slice of paradise” on Wayland Ave.  We will miss seeing you in OB.  Godspeed to you friend.  

I had the privilege of working with Don for several years at TRO, he was a true colleague. My condolences to his family and friends. 

Donald was a good friend. Very caring and giving. Those wonderful parties at his home at the beach were the best. He always went out of his way to do anything for anyone. Huge heart.

For many, many years Donnie and I would check in with each other
during our morning or afternoon commutes., to talk about life, work, and the commute.  I will miss him. This one really hurts.

Mark, (and family) Bob and I are so saddened to hear about your dad’s passing. It always hard to hear of another Sagamore beach resident lost too soon.  Our prayers are with you at this time.  . Karen and Bob Buckley 

Don was the designer and manager of our extensive home renovations at Sagamore Beach.  He was so easy to work with and the project came out beautifully.  Don was a true gentleman, kind, patient, intelligent, and full of good ideas.  Knowing him was a real blessing .  My sympathy to Mark and his family.  Sagamore Beach has lost a true gem.   


My deepest sympathies with the passing of such a gentle soul as Don.

I worked with Don and we shared many of the same interest around old cars, model trains as well as the industry of construction.   He was a fair, balanced, knowledgeable and a good man that was well respected and I thoroughly enjoyed working with .

 Donald was a great guy. I enjoyed working with him for over 20 years. I also had the privilege of working with his dad. You couldn’t have a better friend. 

I am deeply saddened to hear of Don's passing. I feel that we grew up together professionally. Our Dad's working together and then Don and I. My company, Continental Metal Products, worked with Don on many projects, going back to TRO days. We will remember his warmth, kind heart, and willingness to assist any way he could.  We at CMP are all so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

When Don first met me 15 years ago, we discovered (by name recognition) that he grew up knowing my Uncle Mike  who worked at Don's family's restaurant (Alfredo's) in Quincy for many years thereby instantly making us "paisans" (brothers of the same village)!
Don took me under his wing. 
You loved the man for his gentle, kind and caring demeanor and if you were fortunate enough to know him, he  was your Godfather!
His essence of being a true gentleman is the lesson he leaves for us all!



Don was so kind, caring, and funny!  A wonderful part of SBA.    He will be missed by so many of us.  My condolences to his family.

I was priveledged to have worked with Don and previously with his Dad. Don was a gentleman architect and I am proud to have been his colleage for many years at TRO. My sincere sympathies to his family and friends, and his memory cherished.

Don was such a warm personality.  I loved seeing him giggling, so excited to tell a funny story or share pictures from his garden.  He was a friend from whom I could seek advice, who would never make you feel bad for asking a basic question.

Don was my mentor and friend. May your soul be at peace and in reunion with all your loved ones. Thank you for your wisdom and for that kind and warm heart of yours that made all of us so comfortable around you ... thank for your conciliatory nature, always willing to be part of the solution ...You had the quality of bringing the best out off everyone. You taught me so much by genuinely being you. ... I will not be able to clean your reading glasses anymore but I will forever cherish the day I met you. My prayers are with you and your family. Repposare in pace Donny.

Rest in Peace Don. While we only had limited working relationship he always was a friendly face at the NEHES conferences. He will be truly missed by all. 

My heartfelt condolences to Donald’s family and loved ones for their loss of an amazing person. I remember his first day at SBA where he and I became desk mates. I can and will forever hear his laughs and chuckles and see his big smile. I will miss your stories and our talks - he was so easy to talk to.  Thank you Donald for the years of friendship and mentorship. I hope your beloved pup, Tony Baloney is with you now! Rest In Peace, Donald. 

I worked with Don at SBA when I first graduated college. He taught me so much about construction administration and was a great friend and mentor. He was fun to work with and always upbeat even when things were difficult. Don is well loved and will be sorely missed. I'm sorry I never got to make you that chicken piccata my friend. I hope you are at peace. 

Working with you and your dad was a wonderful experience at TRO you were both quality people.  I have great memories of both of you 

Don is like a brother to me.  We often referred to each other as such. He was a wonderful, caring, loving, and intelligent man, a real people person who had the nack of being able to solve the little and big issues on a project while keeping his heart in the right place.  We  spent a lot of work time and fun times together.  We worked hard and laughed harder.  He touched so many many people and was everyone's friend.  Don, I will miss you greatly and am honored to have learned from you.

My heart is so heavy.  Don was a wonderful man, colleague and friend.  I will miss him.  Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and colleagues.    Adria xo

Don was a close and loyal friend.  So many great memories of working with him over the years.  Don will be missed. RIP my friend. 

It is with deep sadness that I have received the news of Don’s untimely passing.   He was a very fine man, Architect, and colleague and we completed many projects for Children’s Hospital with him in the SBA years.
His company and good humor at many NEHES conferences was fun and most enjoyable.
Don will be missed as a design collaborator and trusted friend.
