Alice Barmashi

She is survived by her loving husband, Peter, her children, Theodore Barmashi of Arlington, Nancy Barmashi of Connecticut, Charles Barmashi and Kim of South Carolina, David Barmashi and Theresa of Bedford, and Alexander Barmashi and Emilie of Bourne, cousin Carol Adams, brother-in-law Frannie Doncaster, sister-in-law Toni Barmashi, grandchildren Kate, Michael, Jacqueline, Joseph, Steven, Nora, and John, great-grandchildren Lexi, Collin, Noah, Wimberley, Dallas, Chesnee, and Stetson, and many nieces and nephews.

Alice enjoyed tending to her backyard garden, quilting, knitting, attending yoga classes at the Bourne Senior Center, walking along the canal with Peter, playing games, going out and about with her sisters, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Alice is predeceased by her cherished sisters, Mary Crowe and Jack, Anne Penta and Joseph, Jean Holden and Arthur, Ellen Callahan and Robert, and Margaret Doncaster, her brother-in-law George Barmashi, and dear friend Connie Joyce.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9th, from 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. followed by a Vigil Service at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home at 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA, 02523. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
