Angela A. Cogliano

Angela was born in Boston on February 1, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Michelina Lena from Boston, Massachusetts, and the widow of Felix J. Cogliano of Boston, Massachusetts.

After graduating high school, she attended the Boston School of Accounting, Boston, MA, Lee Institue of Real Estate Brokers, Brookline, MA and Melrose Beauty Academy, Melrose, MA.

Angela worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Environmental Quality Engineering, Trefrey Real Estate, Burlington, MA as a Real Estate Broker, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Town of Winchester as a traffic Officer, and possessed a hair dresser's license.

She is survived by her sister Patricia Williams, daughter Phyllis Corrado and husband Richard, her daughter Michele Heppner, her daughter Aleta Russell and husband David and her daughter Andrea Cogliano and husband Patrick Doran, grandsons, Anthony McCormack, Charles Heppner and Casey Russell, granddaughters Danielle Mello and Kimberly Musella.

Angela walked daily on the Cape Cod Canal and truly enjoyed meeting and talking with the many people she would meet. She hardly ever missed a day, as this was her favorite pastime.

Angela loved trying new recipes and baking her cookies and desserts for everyone who visited. She has always loved cooking and enjoyed getting together with family and friends for holidays, special occasions, and informal gatherings.

Visiting hours are at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA 508-759-3511 on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and a funeral Mass at Saint Margarets Church, 141 Main Street, Buzzards Bay on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10 AM.
