Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII from 1940 – 1945 and was employed as a custodian for the Town of Bourne. Beside being a natural handyman and doing all , Arthur loved dogs and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, December 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA., followed by a funeral service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur’s name may be made to the Bourne Food Pantry, 20 Commerce Park Road, Pocasset, MA 02532, 508-403-0303.
