OBITUARY

Ashley Carpenter

Passed away on October 7, 2021

Ashley Blair Carpenter passed away unexpectedly October 7, 2021 at the young age of 28 years old due to health complications.

She was born to Janet Marie Carpenter and Emerson Jotham Carpenter III, growing up in Carver, MA.

She is survived by her 3 daughters; Malia (4 years old), Rebelle and Ryatt (8 Months). She was the youngest of 15 siblings and “Auntie Ashley” to many nieces and nephews.

She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a child. Though she was diabetic she never let that hold her back from enjoying her life and starting a family. Ashley was a very loving, sweet, generous soul. She would always put others before herself, especially when it came to her daughters.

Ashley was a CNA at a nursing home and enjoyed taking care of her residents. There are countless memories with Ashley, it was always laughs and teasing. She will be deeply missed by all of her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.

If you plan to attend the services, we ask you bring a note/card with a memory of Ashley or just describing her. This will be used throughout the years to read to her three young children. Send in as many as you'd like for the memory box."

Ashley, you were the sweetest person, you were always so thoughtful and considerate of others. I am proud to have been your older sister and I miss you so so much. I’m glad the last time we chatted we ended with “I love you” I never knew it would be our last conversation. I can’t believe your gone you were such a beautiful, caring, loving young woman. RIP Sweet Ashley. Always remember how much you loved the residents and staff at Bourne Manor and they loved you also. Will miss our catch up talks. Jack always loved seeing you and Malia in the mornings at Micky D’s. Always loved my butterfly and sparkles phone case. Reminds me of you everyday. ❤️🙏 Lynda and John Hudson
