Charles Edward Chambers, Jr.

Charles E. Chambers Jr, 79 of Bourne, MA passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by family on April 23, 2023. He was born on April 3, 1944 in Boston, MA. Charles was the loving husband of 56 years to the late Janet (McAvoy) Chambers, his highschool sweetheart and the son of the late Charles Sr. and Helen (Sheehan) Chambers.

Chas is survived by brother Paul and sister Helen (Sis), his three sons, Mark, Greg and Wayne his Daughter In-Law Jennifer and granddaughters Caroline and Abigail as well as many nieces and nephews.

Chas graduated from North Quincy High School in 1962, where he is a member of both the North Quincy High School Hockey and Baseball Hall of Fames. He raised his family in Quincy (Point) where he was active in youth sports and he was an avid golfer. He was as selfless a person you will ever meet and he will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held from 10 – 11:30AM on May 24, 2023 at Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur BLVD. Bourne, MA 02532, followed by burial services at Center Cemetery in Pembroke, MA.
