It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we report that Charlotte “Charlie” (Coullahan) Langley passed away unexpectedly on August 24th. Born to the late Eileen (Hanlon) and Raymond Coullahan, Charlotte grew up in Hyde Park, MA and graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton. She was married to the late Robert “Huff” Langley who she lost far too soon in 2000.
Charlie was an adventurous spirit – known for a great sense of humor, a love of Chinese food and a passion for travel. She was a good friend and a fun companion to many. She would never turn down a new travel destination and often planned her next trip right after returning from her last trip. At the time of her death, she was looking forward to her dream trip of a lifetime – an 18 day safari to Africa.
Charlie is survived by her brother Peter and his wife Michelle of Wakefield, brother Robert and his wife Wendy of Franklin and her dear friend and sister-in-law Deborah (Langley) Ellis and husband Arthur of North Attleboro. She also leaves nieces Meghan (Coullahan) Palombo and Jeanine Ellis and nephews David, Bryan and Kevin Coullahan and Ryan and Arthur Ellis. She was the much loved great aunt of Jayce and Brooks Coullahan, August Palombo, and many nieces and nephews of the Ellis and Law families. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Coullahan Jr and sister Margaret “Susan” Coullahan Petersen.
Former employee of NSTAR and member of the Elks 2855 and Eagles 3741.
