Corrinne was born on July 18, 1960 in Chicopee, Massachusetts on Westover Air Force Base to Frank and Dolores (Anctil) Kokoszka. She married her best friend and love of her life, James Jace DeMoss, in 1984 and they enjoyed 35 years of marriage together.
Corrinne graduated from Norwich University, specializing in Communication and Computer Electronics. She then continued on to Johns Hopkins University and received her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. Corrinne was also a United States Air Force officer. She served the Air Force as Lieutenant Colonel and completed 22 years of service. Following the years of service to her country, she worked as a Patriot BMC4I Six Sigma Lead at Raytheon. In June of 2019, she retired from Raytheon and moved back to her childhood town in Bourne, Massachusetts with her husband.
Corrinne had a passion for traveling and being outdoors. She loved skiing, ice skating and walks along the Cape Cod canal with her dog, Sweet Pea. She was also a talented interior designer, a loyal Boston Red Sox fan, and a competitive card and bananagrams player. All whom loved her dearly will forever remember her honorable service to our country, dedication as a loving wife and parent, energetic personality, and fun-loving free spirit.
She will be deeply missed and survived by her husband James DeMoss, children Samantha and Michelle DeMoss, mother Dolores Kokoszka, and brother David Kokoszka.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4 to 7pm at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Church 841 Shore Road Pocasset, MA. Interment will be private.
