David Francis Downarowicz

David was a graduate of Boston University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly personality. He worked as a Marketing Associate at Sysco for six years before spending many years as a bartender at Bobby Byrne’s, where he built lasting friendships and enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, David found joy on the golf course and was devoted fan of New England sports. Whether watching a game with family and friends or following his favorite teams throughout the season, rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He will be remembered for his love of sports, his sense of humor, and the time he shared with those closest to him.

David is survived by his loving children; Matt, Jason and Caitlin; his beloved dog, Annie; and his brothers, Walter, Bobby and Stephen. He also leaves behind extended family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and Friends are invited to gather and celebrate David’s life and pay their respects on Tuesday, September 1st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 Macarthur Blvd, Bourne, MA.

David’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. He will be deeply miss and forever remembered.
