A dedicated and considerate son, husband, father, and overall family man, David will be remembered by those he left behind as a lifelong optimist and problem solver, an avid outdoorsman and adventurer, and a purveyor of great advice. His charm, intelligence, sensitivity, and curious nature endeared him to everyone that he met.
David had numerous interests that spanned from skiing to philosophy, from cooking to machinery, and most importantly making his family laugh with his well timed one-liners and jovial disposition. His insistence on knowing how the things around him worked made him a favorite person for questions and conversations from his family and friends.
David was predeceased by his beloved father, John William, Sr. and brother, John William, Jr. He is survived by his mother Carol, sister Kristin, wife Marla, and his four children Jared, John, Nathaniel, and Anna. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends both old and new, all of whom will sorely miss his uncompromising good nature and sense of integrity.
Viewing hours will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home on September 4th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, followed by a service celebrating David's life from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
In times of grief, we can still hear David say "Let's just enjoy the moment. It's a beautiful day".
