

Dennis Paul DiGiovanni, age 80, a longtime resident of Forestdale, MA, passed away on Saturday, June 6th 2026. Dennis was born in Lowell, MA, on January 24, 1946. He grew up in Tewksbury, MA, and answered the call to serve his country when he was drafted into the Vietnam War at the age of 18. Dennis spent over a year deployed in Vietnam and proudly continued his military service for a total of 10 years.A man of exceptional work ethic, Dennis balanced a full-time career with the Department of Defense while simultaneously building his own successful business right out of his home garage.Beyond his dedication to his career and country, Dennis was a true enthusiast of mechanical craft. He had a deep lifelong passion for anything International Harvester, loved watching NASCAR, and was happiest when he was tinkering on vehicles. Above all his hobbies, his greatest joy was his family. Dennis absolutely adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Davoli and Alfred DiGiovanni, and his nephew Marc Trinchera.He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy DiGiovanni; his sister, Joyce Trinchera; and his three children, David DiGiovanni, Amy Densmore and her husband DJ, and Paul DiGiovanni; his nephew, Ryan Trinchera. He also leaves behind a legacy of many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
A burial will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Monday June 22nd, 11:30 am. All are welcome.
