

Mrs. Pittman was born in Providence R.I., May 26, 1929, to Reverend Percy M. and Janette Spurrier.
She was raised with four brothers and two sisters in Middleborough, Massachusetts and lived also in Attleboro while attending college.
Mrs. Pittman had recently celebrated her 68th wedding anniversary with her husband Corbett S. Pittman.
They were married October 3, 1953 by her father, the Rev. P.M. Spurrier at Centenary Methodist Church in Attleboro,Mass. where he was the rector.
Mrs. Pittman was a registered nurse and worked at Faulkner Hospital and The Massachusetts General Hospital.
Later in life she was employed as a secretary with the North Attleborough School system at the Junior High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Pittman were long-time residents of North Attleborough. They built a second home in Gray Gables, Massachusetts in 1980 and were active in volunteer work in Bourne Schools.
Mrs Pittman was a congregant of Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro for many years. She enjoyed her pet cats, square dancing with the Side-Splitters Square Dance Club
as well as travelling, knitting, rug hooking and painting.
Mrs. Pittman was pre-deceased by her husband last month on November 9th. She is survived by a brother, Bruce Spurrier of Wisconsin,
her son James and wife Jennifer Pittman, a daughter, Linda Washington of Cumberland and nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Pittman in Nantucket Sound in the spring of 2022.
