Elizabeth "Beth" Barton (McCann), of Sandwich MA, formerly Hingham MA passed away peacefully from complications related to a longterm illness. She is survived by her husband William Barton, daughter Hope, father William McCann, sister Susan McCann, two brothers Christopher (Weymouth Ma), Michael (Rockland Ma) McCann and her nieces and nephew.
An undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Occupational Therapy, a master's degree from Wheelock College, and a certificate in aquatic therapy, Beth carved her path working with children with significant special needs. Throughout her career she provided care and advocacy for children and families in Plymouth and across Cape Cod. She also served as a nursing home administrator.
