Eva Maria Brooks

She was born Eva Maria Castelli on March 14, 1922, the daughter of Adamo and Enrica (Giombetti) Castelli. She married Herbert W. Brooks on March 4, 1955, and they lived, with their children, in Ashland until all five became adults. She has been a resident of Bourne for over 4 years.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, word games and Scrabble, in which she was the champion in the family. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and their progeny.

She is much beloved and survived by her husband, Herbert W. Brooks of Bourne, and their five children: Donna Celorier, and her husband Richard, of Framingham; Thom Brooks, and his wife Liane, of Ashland; Michael Brooks, and his wife Erin, of E. Sandwich; Kevin Brooks, and his wife Suzy, of Sagamore Beach, and Kathi Cleary of Boulder, CO. She is, also, survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She wished to be cremated, and inurnment will be in a private service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
