Helen M. Holmes, formally of Brighton, South Yarmouth and Freedom, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Robert and Helen Flanagan passed away on April 23, 2012 in Northborough, Ma. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Holmes, loving mother of the late Mary-Ellen Holmes, Jean F. and her husband Dr. John P. Farricy of Northborough, Karen M. DeNaples of Winthrop, and Ralph E. Holmes Jr. and his wife Deborah of Arizona. Helen is also survived by her seven grand-children and ten great grand-children. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the kind staff at Beaumont Nursing Home.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A in Sandwich with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
