

James A. Bohlin, age 81, passed away peacefully at his residence at Keystone Place on Buzzards Bay on September 12th after a lengthy struggle with cancer. He previously resided in Lakeville, Massachusetts.
Mr. Bohlin was born to Martin and Phyllis Bohlin and was the loving husband to Sandra Bohlin who predeceased him in 2010.
Both Jim and Sandra were dedicated public school teachers. He attended Bridgewater State College, now Bridgewater State University, graduating 1967 with a degree in Earth Science. He then went on to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He proudly served four years in the Air Force prior to his teaching career. Jim retired from teaching Earth Science at Brockton High School. In his spare time Jim enjoyed golf and was the proud owner of a 34-foot Nordic Tugboat named Sea Hawk, which he used in exploring the waters of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts and Narraganset Bay, Rhode Island. Jim and Sandra loved to travel, especially to volcanically significant regions of the Western Hemisphere advancing his interest in Geology.
Jim was predeceased by his brother Kenneth Bohlin and survived by his brother Donald Bohlin and sister Kathleen Geradine.
