Jeanette C. Yohai, 86, of Bourne MA and Bonita Springs, FL died peacefully at home August 27, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Oscar Yohai for 58 years. Born in Brockton, MA daughter of the late Walter and Thora (Swanson) Carroll. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, Bridgewater State University, and the University of Hartford. She was a school teacher for over 30 years teaching in Brockton MA, West Hartford CT and Wareham MA at the Minot Forest School for the last 18 years of her career. She loved music, concerts and traveling. For the past 22 years she was very active with the Shriners, Daughters of the Nile, Egyptian Band, Eastern Star, and as an auxiliary member of the Jokers Clown Unit Shrine Center, Ft. Myers FL where she helped to raise money for Shrine Hospitals. In addition to her husband Oscar she is survived by 2 sons Walter Yohai of Buzzards Bay MA, Mark Yohai of Westboro, MA and his wife Beth, and her 2 grandchildren Samara and Allana Yohai. A graveside service will be held Friday August 30th at the MA National Cemetery Bourne. Donations in her name can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America ( alzfdn.org ).
