Joan Elizabeth Conley

Joan Elizabeth (Adams) Conley, of Aurora, CO, (formerly Mashpee) passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 in the presence of family at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO. She was the wife of the late Paul F. Conley.

Born in Mattapan, MA, she was the daughter of Barbara (Graham) Adams of Bourne, and the late William S. Adams. She was a graduate of North Quincy High school and spent 40 years working in the medical field at Boston City Hospital and Cape Cod Hospital.

During the last few years of her life she relocated to Colorado to be with her children. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a son, Scott W. Conley and his wife Kathleen of Longmont, CO; a daughter Carrie J. Kerns and her husband Bradley of Aurora, CO; 2 sisters, Barbara Shevory of Bourne, MA and Linda Shay of Marshfield, MA; 5 grandchildren, Elaina, Kimberly, Jameson, Grace and Jackson as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. October 18, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Church 841 Shore Road Pocasset, MA. Visitation will be held on Monday 5 – 8 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. Interment at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
