Joseph Stuart Duffy

Born in Quincy, MA he was the son of the late Thomas Joseph and Ruth (Landry) Duffy. He was the brother of the late Marjorie Leamon and Helen Duffy.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. and served during the Korean War.

Mr. Duffy worked as a realtor for Century 21 in South Dennis for many years. He previously had worked as an auto body repair technician for Duggan Brothers in North Quincy.

He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

He was the cherished father of Robin Goodrich and her husband Billy of Middleboro, MA, Joanne Monahan of Quincy, MA, Brian Duffy and his wife Cheryl of Holbrook, MA, Shauna Smith and her husband Terry of Nashua, NH, Maura Kelley and her husband Tommy of Sagamore Beach, and Sharon Lucido and her husband Joe of Sagamore Beach, MA. Mr. Duffy adored his 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for relatives and friends Monday, August 24th from 5 - 8pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. Interment with military honors to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
