Joseph F. Schell Jr.

Joseph was born to the late Joseph and Beatrice Schell (Strout) in Westbrook, Maine. He has been married to his wife Maureen Schell (O'Connell) for 33 years.

He was the Oldest of 8 siblings, might have molded him to believe let's have fun, who can we entertain and who can we torture. Any family time large or small he was in. Teasing his nieces and nephews no matter how young or old was a joy. Fascinating the kid's with a little magic trick. He loved to hear "do it again, do it again" Uncle Joe. Hunting stories he had a few. That Maryland goose trip with a return stop in Atlantic City was something else. Just ask the Pepsi kid. Competing in bowling, archery, and pistol were enjoyable past times. Doing well without practice seemed to be his middle name. Joe loved to socialize anywhere making new friend's at the drop of a hat. His go to line was "pick a number". Hat's Joe loved them. Challenge Try to find a picture of him without one. Friend's and family sharing many adventure's from small to the large in many places. Service to this country was important. Army Vietnam Veteran, surviving the Tet Offensive battle of Hue while stationed nearby at Phu Bai Airfield and Camp Hochmuth Vietnam. Past commander Wessagussett VFW Post 1399 East Weymouth, MA. Lifetime member Taunton VFW David F. Adams Post 611 Taunton, MA. Member of: Taunton Area Vietnam Veterans Association. DAV member. American Legion - 121 Manuel Scup Rose Berkley, MA. Volunteer VA Brockton Hospital parties for Veterans. Volunteer Taunton VFW post. One of his fondest memories while stationed in Washington, was that he was lucky enough that his cousin Jimmy flew up to visit. That was a work trip for Jimmy as he logged some miles on his fighter jet. LCDR James E. Sullivan Navy Pilot. Joe called Jimmy one of the big kid's as he was one of the only cousin's that was older than he was. There were not many.

Joe is survived by his; sister Terry Maxim husband Dave Maxim. Maine, sister Donna Carver Georgia, sister Dorothy Burns Florida. brother Edward Schell Florida, brother David Schell Florida, brother in-law Bob Powers Plymouth, MA, sister in-law Donna Schell Quincy, MA. He is pre deceased by; brother Richard Schell Sr. Plymouth, MA, sister Carol Schell Plymouth, MA, Large family with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, also great nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to Salvation Army or the Berkley American Legion.

Family and friends remain important to all of us now and forever Amen.
