Josephine Dean Perry

Josephine Dean Perry, of Falmouth, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was the wife of the late Taber B. Perry. She was a lifelong resident of Pocasset, until moving to assisted living in Falmouth.

Born in Hyannis, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Ross) Dean.

Mrs. Perry was educated in Bourne schools and was a graduate of Framingham State Teachers College. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and traveled to Scotland several times.

She was an avid golfer and enjoyed sewing, gardening and traveling. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and New England Patriots.

She is survived by 2 sons, Dean B. Perry of Hudson, FL and David L. Perry and his wife Susan of Portland, ME. She is also survived by a grandson David E. Perry of Sarasota, FL, son of Dean and the late Marry Perry. She was the sister of the late Robert R. Dean.

Josephine’s family would like to thank the staff at the Heritage of Falmouth and JML Healthcare for all of their care and kindness over the past several years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Cataumet Cemetery at noon. Arrangements are by the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA.
