June D. Barrows of Medfield, formerly of Pocasset died February 4, 2013. Born on January 25, 1931 in New London, CT daughter of the late Judge Vito J. DeNoia and Harriet (Holmgren) of Groton, Ct. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Barrows.
Mrs. Barrows did volunteer work for an organization called F.I.S.H. for senior citizens for 7 years. She also served on the board of directors for the Humane Society in Medfield. She is survived by 4 children Bruce Barrows of Sandwich, Edward Barrows Jr. of Norfolk, MA,Kathy Barrows of Waltham, MA and Vickie Francis of Pennsylvania. Also 6 grandchildren Scott Francis, Rachael, Henry,Hannah, Hugh and Howard Barrows. Visiting will be held at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne Thursday Feb. 7th from 11:30 am to noon at which time her funeral service will be held. Burial to follow at MA National Cemetery at 1:45 PM. Donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association.
