Lorraine M. Hatch

Lorraine M. Hatch, 92, passed away on July 12, 2026. She was born on July 16, 1933 in Brockton MA, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Marie (Peck) Lightfoot. Lorraine lived in Bourne and Falmouth MA and was also a former resident of Florida.

With a life shaped by steady devotion and deep love, Lorraine’s greatest work was the care she gave so freely to those around her. A homemaker, she built a home defined not only by daily diligence, but by the warmth of a loving presence and the quiet strength of a devoted wife and mother. Even in ordinary moments, her good sense of humor brought lightness and comfort, a gentle reminder that joy could be found alongside responsibility.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 72 years, Arthur A. Hatch, and her children Barbara Travis of Alexandria, VA, Donald Hatch and his wife Ramona of Andover, MA, Kenneth Hatch and his wife Jennifer of Bourne, MA and Andrea Jablonski and her husband Adam of Fairport NY. She is predeceased by her eldest son Stephen and youngest daughter Nancy Fraser.

She also leaves behind her 9 grandchildren Kristina, Alaina, Sean, Samuel, Benjamin, Katie, Kevin, Karen and Jennifer, 3 great grandchildren, her sister Barbara, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. John's the Evangelist Church 841 Shore Road Pocasset, MA. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lorraine's name to a charity of your choice or Caring Hospice Services of Massachusetts.
