Marcia D. Shaw

Marcia was born in Brockton, Massachusetts March 25, 1947 to the late Marion O'Brian and Arved O'Brian.

Marcia was an avid Boston sports fan and also a fan of Tony Stewart and NASCAR. She enjoyed crafts had a love for music, happily listening to anything that was on. Marcia also loved the casino would go every chance she got. She is up there now saying let it ride, let it ride. Above all, Marcia was a very loving wife, and a wonderful mother and nana.

Marcia was the adopting mother of 5 children: Tammy Costa of Rochester, Abby Shaw of New Bedford, Sean Shaw and wife Andrea of Rochester, Bren Mangham and husband Robert of CT, and the late Jeffy Shaw. She was the beloved Nana of Kayla, Evan, Chelise and Delaney. Sister of Dennis O’Brian and wife Patty of CA and Donald O’Brian and wife Linda of PA. She is also survived by her nephew, Andrew and mother in law, Alice Shaw. She also had 2 grand-dogs, Otis Brown and Maverick McLoven.

Marcia’s Visiting Hours will be held Thursday from 4-8PM in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. A procession for the burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery will form in the Funeral Home parking lot on Friday at 10:45AM. Relatives and friends invited.
