Margaret E Smith Hynes

Born in Cambridge on April 8, 1924, Margaret was the daughter of the late Owen and Mary (Nelligan) Smith. Margaret was married to Robert Siblo for 40 years before he predeceased her in 1985. She then married Michael Hynes in 1994 and he predeceased her in 2003.

Margaret moved to Cape Cod in the early 90’s and became a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Pocasset. She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and sewing. In addition, she loved traveling and was fortunate enough to have visited Ireland several times.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Czyryca and husband Michael of Pocasset, step-son Robert Siblo and wife Gloria of VA, brother, Owen J. Smith, Jr. of Bridgewater, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Norman P. Smith, Helen O’Dea and Marjorie Harrigan.

Margaret’s Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd., Pocasset. Visiting Hours will be held in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne on Tuesday from 9:30AM-10:30AM. Relatives and Friends invited. Private Burial will follow on Wednesday Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
