Mary G. (McGuire) Carmichael of Buzzards Bay and a native of New York died on November 26, 2012 at the age of 57. A retired nurse, she was the loving wife of the late Joseph Carmichael; the devoted mother of Maeve Rich and her husband Frank, and Deirdre Rakus and her husband Sebastian; the cherished grandmother of five; the beloved sister of Brian McGuire and his wife Margie; David McGuire and his wife Valerie, Margaret Zarcone and her husband Gene, Christopher McGuire and his wife Ingrid, and Adrian Boland and her husband Michael. She also leaves her sisters - laws; Diana and her husband William and Catherine and her husband Paul as well as 14 nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 141 Main St. in Buzzards Bay. Burial in Mount St. Marys Cemetery in Flushing, New York will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012 at 11 am.
