Mary Margaret Carr

Mary Margaret Carr, 83, of Falmouth died May 22, 2011. Born in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Wright) McLaughlin. She attended Clinton schools and moved to Cape Cod in 1949. She worked at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Pocasset. She has been a cub scout den mother and was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. She loved the beach and walking along the canal.

She is survived by her five children: Stephen M. and his wife Lois Carr of Pocasset, Timothy J. and his wife Joyce Carr of Prattville, Alabama, Jeffery P. Carr of Pocasset, Pamela A. Brunoli of Farmington, CT and Susan M. and her husband John Forni of Cataumet. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Tyler, Ashley, Ryan and Sean Carr, Alana Brunoli and Samantha Forni.

Services and burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod & the Islands, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601
