

Born in Hyannis, MA he was the son of the late Norman E. Weekes Sr. and is survived by his mother, Mildred Agnes (Hart) Weekes. He is also survived by his two sons, Nathaniel Weekes and Kelly Young of Plainville, MA , Nicholas Weekes of Sandwich, Ma. He is also survived by his siblings, Diane Parkinson of South Hampton, MA, Richard Weekes of Bourne, MA, Gail Marion of Barnstable, MA and Harold Weekes of Barnstable, MA. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss him.
Mr. Weekes had worked for the Town of Sandwich as a custodian for many years. Mr. Weekes was also an accomplished mechanic for many years, running his own small engine repair shop here on the Cape. Mr. Weekes loved working for the town of Sandwich and took great pride in his position of maintaining and upkeep of the Sandwich Public Schools. He was well known by the staff and the children of the school community for many years. Mr. Weekes was truly one of a kind and his legacy lives on in the Sandwich Public Schools.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at a time to be announced at the West Barnstable Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Alzheimer's
Association in honor of Norman and his courageous battle with the disease.
