Patricia Ahern

After graduating from Arlington High School in 1966, Pat had a long time career with the U.S. Postal Service prior to retiring to Ocala, FL. Pat enjoyed cooking, knitting, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Paul J. Ahern; his daughters, Stacey Columb, Paula Ahern and Wendy Bryant; several cousins, including Susan and Paul Dowie of Ocala, FL and Kevin Dowie of NH; five grandchildren, Riley, Kaitlyn, Ava, Brody and Blayke; in-laws, Brian and Margaret Ahern, Joseph Ahern and Keith Hebert; niece, Mary Rene Fowler; nephews, Michael Ahern and Christopher Ahern.

She is preceded in death by her cousin and friend, Marion Dowie of Ocala, FL and her parents, Charles and Mary O’Connor.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation prior to service 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
