

Patricia R. Fisher & Raymond R. Fisher, Sr., beloved residents of Bourne, Massachusetts. Raymond passed on July 4, 2025, and Patricia on August 17, 2025. Ray passed away just a month ago, and although Pat was never alone, she missed him dearly, and now they are together again.
Pat was above all dedicated to her family and raising her children. She supported them in every endeavor they took on. She was their biggest fan and volunteered in Boy Scouts and other clubs they belonged to. She was known for her kind-hearted compassion, devotion, and faithful nature. She was generous, gentle, and had a zest for life~ always honest and kind-hearted. Her thoughtful and selfless spirit touched everyone she met. Raymond was a devoted and generous husband and father. He was a hard worker who loved his family and overcame many challenges to support and provide for them. In his earlier years Ray loved to fish, shellfish and garden. He was a diehard sports fan.
Pat was born in Sagamore and was a graduate of the Bourne schools. She graduated from Lasell College and later worked at the telephone company when she met Ray. Ray was born in Westfield Ma. He attended Monson Academy and received an athletic scholarship to Toledo University when he was drafted by the United States Air Force. He was a navigator on the C121 radar plane. He served for over 20 years and retired as a Major. After retirement he worked 30 + years at the United States Post Office. He also worked part time at Ocean Spray.
Ray and Pat were happily married for 67 years and had 7 children. Their oldest son Raymond R. Fisher Jr. preceded their death on August 25, 2024. Surviving children include Eloise Meissner and her husband Robert of New Hampshire, Cheryl Bilodeau and her husband Robert of Bourne, Robert Fisher and his wife Kimberly of Marion, Richard Fisher and his husband Brian Puckett of Florida, Paul Fisher and his wife Lindsey of Rochester, and Daniel Fisher and his partner Samatha Smith of Florida. In addition, they leave 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Pat leaves 2 half sisters Judy Freeland of Louisianna, Jeanne Ameral of Falmouth, and half-brother James Roberts and his wife Gail of Falmouth. Ray was one of 14 brothers and sisters and is survived by his youngest brother John Fisher of Westfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia will be held on September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St Margaret of Scotland Church, located at 141 Main St, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at 11:15 AM at Otis Massachusetts National Cemetery on Connery Ave, Bourne, MA 02542.
Immediately after the graveside ceremony A Celebration of Life for Pat and Ray Fisher will be held in the Sperry Tent at The Sagamore 1131 Sandwich Rd #6A, Sagamore, MA 02561
Ray and Pat Fisher were proud T-shirt sponsors of the Monument Beach Polar Club whose sole purpose is to raise money for the Bourne Food Pantry. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in their names to the Friends of Bourne Food Pantry.
