Paul Flynn

Born in Dorchester, Paul was the son of the late John F. and Julia L. (Zalvis) Flynn. He was a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School Class of 1967. Paul worked for the New England Telephone Company and retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Following retirement, Paul was employed with the Willowbend Country Club. Paul was an avid Boston Sports Fan and big supporter of the Bourne Braves. He was a member of the Marconi Club and the Monument Beach Polar Bear Club.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his son, John P. Flynn of Weymouth, daughter, Laura E. Flynn of Pembroke, siblings, John F. Flynn and wife Barbara of AL, Kathleen A. Emanuello of Hull, and twin sister Jeanne M. Robinson and husband Craig of Hingham. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, many friends and his beloved dog, Rocky.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Paul’s Funeral will be held on Friday at 11AM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Bourne Friends Food Pantry, P.O. Box 144, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
