

In 1959, Pauline married her love, Lew Ashton. When they moved to Cape Cod (God’s Country) and their children (God’s Gifts) Vicki Lynne, Perian and Curtis Lew.
Pauline worked for the Barnstable County National Bank in Mashpee, Centerville, Dennis Port branches and Hyannis office. After retirement, she worked in bookkeeping for Factory Shoe Mart in Dennis Port. After she worked for Edie Wood to care for Captains Row Cottages in Dennis Port until 1999.
After retirement again, she volunteered for Harwich Treasure Chest. She was a believer of recycling and waste not want not. She also loved doing volunteer for the Harwich Trail Committee.
In 2015, Lew and Pauline moved to Buzzards Bay to be near their families. They had found new friends.
Pauline is joining Lew in crossing over. Along with her father and mother, Seymour and Viola Frances (Carter) McKinney. Also 4 brothers Dan Williams, Seymore Jr., Billy Joe and Louis and two grandsons, Aaron and Joshua.
Pauline leaves in this world two daughters Vicki and husband Michael and Perian and husband Phillip, son Curtis Lew and wife Erica; two step-daughters in Texas, Patricia Lou and Barbara Ann and also leaves six grandchildren, Valia, Michelle, Michael Jr., and their families. Adam, Allison and Ashley and their families. Also she leaves a brother dear Johnny and Jane and their families in Texas.
Pauline leaves many nieces and nephews whom she loved them all.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Nickerson- Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Followed by a burial at Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth for 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory can be made to: Methodist Children's Home 1111 Herring Ave. Waco, Texas 76708.
