

REGAN, Richard D., 92, of Waltham, MA, passed away on March 23, 2022 in Windham, NH. He was born to the late Dennis J. and Mary (Bradfield) Regan in Boston, MA on January 11, 1930. He is predeceased by his loving wife Mary P. Regan (Doyle) with whom he shared sixty-six years in marriage.
Rich grew up in the Oak Square neighborhood of Brighton, MA. After graduating from Latin English High School, he attended Lowell Tech (now Lowell University). He was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War and a member of the VFW in Waltham as well as the VFW in Venice, FL. He worked for Raytheon for 12 years, Honeywell for 10 years and several other companies throughout his career in the electronics field. Among his favorite jobs ever however was during his brief hiatus from the electronics industry. Rich excelled as a sales professional for Snap-on Tools where he loved to say, "I made a special effort to stop by and see you today."
Rich was one of the nicest and most genuine people you could ever meet. He would enter a room without knowing a soul and leave with countless new friends. His jokes may have been overtold, but they never grew old. He lived a full life and will leave many a smile when those fortunate enough to have known him reflect back on his days. A wonderful husband, father, brother and friend... he will be missed.
He is survived by 3 son's: Michael of Wareham, MA, Brian and wife Chris of Hollis, NH, and Daniel and his wife Rhenea of Windham, NH. His sister; Martha Davis of Marshfield, MA, and his daughter in law Lisa Regan of Somers, CT. He is also preceded in passing by his son; Kevin of Somers, CT, his sister Helen Verochi of East Dennis, MA. He is survived as well by 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 9:30-10:30am at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am in the funeral home. Burial will take place at 11:15am with full military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne, MA with a reception to follow.
